ALINE WILLIAMS, PRESIDENT

I am a big believer in business development and sustainability, 35 years of entrepreneurship, corporate and non-profit experience, respectively.  I am a seven-year veteran of the United States Air Force and the Illinois Air National Guard receiving the United States Armed Services Meritorious Service Award.  My expertise is in Food Service, Business Strategy, Business Development, Strategic Planning, Transformational Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Workforce Development.  


My love of food started with my grandfather William, a self-trained foodie from Georgia and my grandma Laura, a southern lady from Tunica Mississippi. My grandfather could take a block of cheese and baloney from a food pantry and 30 minutes later we would have a casserole that would rival that of a Michelin Star Chef!  When he was in the kitchen, I NEVER left his side until it was time to eat.  My knowledge of technique came from him.  


By the time I was ten I not only knew what a mirepoix was, but I also knew how to make various versions of them.  My grandma Laura was the one that taught me to season.   Grandma had a fresh garden on the side of the house.  From the moment I walked into her home I would always say I was hungry, lol.  She could put a five-course meal on the table, which would always include a fresh dessert within an hour!  My job was to go outside into the garden and pick the vegetables she was going to use.  But my mother Sylvia taught me how to wake family up on a Sunday morning with a Sunday brunch, how to prepare a proper Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and as a Chef and serial entrepreneur, professional kitchen food organization, portion control and food costs.  Mom is a retired Chef that still likes to help me with catering jobs from time to time.


Destination Celebration, Inc., was born out of Palette Pleasers Catering, Inc. founded in 1990 which closed in 2013. Palette Pleasers was born of every food experience I ever had. Wanting to incorporate ALL the experiences I love through corporate and entrepreneurial endeavors I decided to combine everything into a resort community where everyone will celebrate their lives experiences where they live, learn work and play.


Although we are beginning the process of the resort community, I thought it best to start the process with our world-class catering and consulting services to raise capital.    We have provided event consulting and catering services for the City of Chicago and throughout Chicago land), to New Life Covent Southeast Executive Pastoral Staff and Servants, Producer and Actor Spike Lee, Basketball star and Producer Shani O’Neal, Comedian George Wilborn, Designer and Activist Quinton De Alexander, fortune 500 corporations and ecologically minded consumers with sustainable food products.   Please contact us for investment opportunities!
